There’s much strength in your vulnerability. Thanks for sharing and possibly being an outlet where others with similar stories can be motivated by your resilience.

i’m sad to say i can relate to your journey. thank you so much for sharing your story and being a continued advocate for abuse. i see you and hear you. there is so much power in sharing our experiences and voice. when we all speak up, we can hold each others hand along the way. until monsters don’t feel safe doing dark deeds anymore, because the light will always find them.

I felt this. Thank you for always making me feel seen. I truly appreciate it. It’s hard speaking out but I tend to do the hard things effortlessly.

Wow shareece thanks for sharing something so personal. Your life is a testimony and it’s so vile how you’ve had to live through those things but I just want to say that there was never a single moment where God forgot about you even thought it felt that way. You are strong!

Nb. sorry for using the word ‘see’, it’s not the right word. As an indigenous woman of colour, living in a faraway country, who is also white passing, I recognise that I cannot truly see you. We have a heavy history here of children taken from us and given into state care where they suffered terrible abuse, and this also happened in many of our state schools. We are a colonised people and we carry that weight. However, I recognise our histories are not the same and that the burden carried by Black people is in fact far heavier. I’ve been blessed to learn a huge amount from reading the profound thinking of Black philosophers and writers like yourself. I hope you will consider having me as an ally, but if you need a safe space with your own people around you and hearing and seeing you, I understand that. Let me know what you need, Shareece. I admire you. Kiri

Wow. You are one of a kind. You didn’t need to apologize but I completely understand why you did. This is such a beautiful way of expressing your care for us.
