THE PLACE (2025)

When I first began working on “The Place,” I didn’t know it would become the anchor of an entire collection. What began as an intuitive exploration of color, shape, and memory transformed into a visual dialogue about the severance of identity, selfhood, and truth. This digital collage is the first in my ongoing Severance Collection, a series deeply inspired by the philosophical and psychological landscape of one of my favorite TV shows, Severance. The show’s ability to tap into the dark, uncanny spaces of our minds; and the eerie normalization of workplace disassociation; left an imprint on me. I knew I had to respond. I had to create.

“The Place” isn’t just a digital image; it’s a portal into the emotional residue of modern life. It’s where identity blurs, where memories glitch, and where our shadows echo long after we’ve left the room.
