Hello Art Lovers,
I’m thrilled to share a major milestone in my journey as an abstract painter: I’m working on an all-new collection that reflects an evolution in my style. For the past few years, I’ve dived deeply into digital art, exploring fresh perspectives and techniques that push the boundaries of abstract expression. This upcoming collection will showcase 10 new pieces, each a reflection of my vision and growth, crafted with intention and emotion.
I’m excited to announce that this collection will premiere in February, and I’ll have the privilege of unveiling it in a dedicated exhibition. For me, this is more than just a showcase—it's a chance to connect with each of you and share the beauty and curiosity that abstract art brings to our lives.
In Breaking the Chains, Shareece captures the turbulent journey of walking away from abuse—a complex path marked by resilience, courage, and the deep desire for freedom. Bold splashes of color swirl across the canvas, evoking both chaos and transformation, as specks of black and white create a fragmented, textured landscape. These layered patterns reflect the turmoil of abusive situations, where confusion and hurt often cloud the way forward.
Diagonal streaks of green and orange cut through the darkness, symbolizing a path toward clarity and self-liberation. Anchoring the painting is a fiery red and yellow border, representing the boundaries and strength needed to break free, serving as a shield against the pain within. Amidst the shadows, pockets of light emerge—a testament to moments of hope and resilience that carry us forward.
Breaking the Chains is a call to end abuse, speaking to those who have found the courage to walk away and reclaim their lives. It’s a visual testament to strength and survival, inviting viewers to confront difficult emotions and celebrate the power of self-liberation.
